Tropical ACAI

Native to the Brazilian rainforests, and grown along the banks of the Amazon River, acai berries are well-known to be abundantly rich in antioxidants, vitamins, fiber, and minerals. Acai has long been a vital source of food for indigenous peoples of the Amazon. In the north of Brazil, the berries are puréed and served with manioc flour and fish. In the south, it’s commonly consumed as a sweet paste. Organically cultivated, the ripe berries are harvested from the acai palm trees.
